Short descriptions: The business started after a few years in which the owners bought the old vineyards in the area and started replanting them with noble varieties of Romanian and international grapes. In 2015, when the company was founded, Vinuri Pancene SRL had under its management 45 ha of vineyards. The vineyard plots are located on the highest hill in the Panciu area, the Chicera hill.

Between 2017-2020, the winery investments was more than 1 milion EURO, invested in equipment for grape processing and storage tanks of stainless steel, which led to a production and storage capacity of approximately 720,000 liters per year. Along with these projects, in addition to the modern equipment in the winery, we also bought barriques for ageing the red and white wines. At the same time the exploited area increased to approx. 85 ha of vineyard. The owners opted for both local varieties (Feteasca Regala, Feteasca Alba, Feteasca Neagra), as well as for the international ones (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Italian Riesling, Muscat Otonel, Traminer, Pinot Noir). The soil is one of the most important assets. The soil and the climate which is colder than in the low areas allow the grapes to collect a natural acidity that is higher than in other areas.

The owners’ vision is to become a well-known name in the wine industry of premium wines.
