Short description:

Located in Dobrogea, on the Danube bank, between the communes of Cochirleni and Rasova, the Domaine DUMETRIER complex includes a vineyard, a wine cellar, as well as a hotel, a spa, a restaurant and a farm that will be used as a restaurant supplier. The hotel will have a bar and a conference room, and the spa will have two saunas, two massage rooms, a Turkish bath, an indoor heated pool and an outdoor one.

In this harmonious and sustainable universe, we want to offer our guests a unique experience that brings together wine, gastronomy, architecture, nature, people and culture.

We paid special attention to the architecture, so that the winery and the rest of the two hectare complex integrates naturally into the Danube landscape.

The Domaine DUMETRIER vineyard is located at a distance of 7 km from the winery, near the Danube bank, covering 2 hills on an area of 73 ha. It was planted in 2011 protecting the characteristics of the chosen terroir.

In this balanced, ecological environment, we also integrated less planted varieties in Romania such as Malbec, Mourvèdre, Semillon, having the courage to plant Negru de Drăgășani. To these are added classic varieties such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon blanc, Merlot, Cabernet sauvignon and Syrah.

We want the vine to transmit in the composition of the grape and of the wine, the characteristics of the terroir from which a maximum of components have been protected. Our grapes are ecological and we apply a minimum of controlled treatments, by daily checking the vineyard and the weather conditions.

Each Domaine DUMETRIER wine expresses the purity of the variety, the naturalness of the fruit, the expression of the terroir and goes through a rigorous internal selection.

The construction of the winery will be completed at the end of 2022, and the hotel, restaurant and spa will open its doors to guests at the end of 2024.
