Short description:
Tata si Fiul Winery- Apcovin Vrancea is a family business which owns 150 hectares of vines in the vineyards Cotesti and Nicoresti. The activity runs in three centers located in Cotesti, Nicoresti and Focsani. Cotesti winemaking centre was built in 2013 and is equipped with the latest technology in winemaking.
With a storage capacity of approximately 3,000,000 gallons, maceration and fermentation of wines are done in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks and the aging in Romanian and French oak barrels.
At Nicoresti, centre that specialises in red wines, the wines are matured in barriques and oak barrels and the aging is done in special cellars. There will soon be available a wine museum in an old aristocratic cellar.
The storing, packaging and bottling of wines takes place at Focsani.
